William F. Adams

William F. Adams, age 90 formerly of Lima, Ohio died at 5:35 A.M., Monday, February 27, 2023 at Fox Run Manor, Findlay, Ohio. He was born on October 31, 1932 in Sycamore, Ohio to Richard and Naomi (Burg) Adams. He married Carol (Heckerd) Adams and she passed away.                                                                                    

Surviving are the following children, Cindy Kohlhorst, Ocala, Florida and Rick Adams, Sturgis, Michigan. She is also survived by three grandsons, Kris Adams, Adam Haman, and Brandon Haman, and five great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, Kris Adams, and a sister who died in infancy, Betty Jane Adams. 

William was a retired Zoning Board Administrator in LaGrange, Indiana. He was a 1950 graduate of Columbian High School, and was a former member of the Bloomville and LaGrange American Legion Posts. He also served his country in the Army during the Korean Conflict.                                                                        

Funeral services for William will be held on Friday, March 3, 2023 at 11:00 A.M. at the Walton-Moore Funeral Home, Sycamore, Ohio with the Rev. Amy Vittorio officiating. Burial will follow at Pleasant View Cemetery where the Sycamore American Legion Post #250 will conduct a military graveside service. Visitation will be held on Friday, March 3, 2023 from 10:00-11:00 A.M. prior to the funeral service.
