Sandra J. Williams

Sandra J. Williams, age 74 of 6834 South State Route 231, Tiffin, Ohio died at 12:30 A.M., Saturday, June 26, 2021 at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center, Toledo, Ohio. She was born on October 9, 1946 in Mt. Vernon, Ohio to Ralph and Ruth (Fowler) Smith. She married Thomas F. Williams on July 6, 1969 and he survives. 

Surviving are the following children, Kara (Hayden) Pritchard, Macedonia, Ohio and Matthew (Matthew West) Williams, Galena, Ohio plus a sister, Kathryn Smith, Mt. Vernon, Ohio and a brother, George Smith, Mt. Vernon, Ohio plus several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a sister, Barbara Butler and a brother, Ralph Smith plus her parents.          

Sandra was a retired Mohawk High School Jr. High teacher having taught for thirty-three years. She was a 1964 graduate of Mt. Vernon High School and a 1968 graduate of Kent State University.                                 

Sandra was a member of the Sycamore Literary Club, loved her flowers and loved to work in her garden, liked to bake and read all kinds of books, and dearly loved The Ohio State University Buckeyes.                                         

Funeral services for Sandra will be held on Tuesday, June 29, 2021 at 1:00 P.M. at the Walton-Moore Funeral Home, Sycamore, Ohio with the Rev. Amy Vittorio officiating. Burial will follow at Pleasant View Cemetery, Sycamore, Ohio. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 29, 2021 from 11:00-1:00 P.M. at the funeral home prior to the funeral service.
