Patrick Poole

Patrick Poole, age 84, of 101 Benton Street, Lot 3, Sycamore, Ohio, died at 8:30 A.M., Thursday, December 17, 2020 at home. He was born on October 23, 1936 in Cleveland, Ohio to Albert and Agnes (Pearn) Poole. He married Phyllis (Smith) Poole on May 24, 1969 and they later divorced.

He is survived by one son, Patrick C. Poole of Sarasota, Florida. He was preceded in death by three brothers, Tom, Herbert, and Russell Poole.

He was a retired millwright at the former Hayes-Albian Plant in Tiffin, Ohio.

He was a member of the VFW, DAV, Amvets, and American Legion all in Tiffin, Ohio. He served his country in the Navy during the Korean Conflict from 1954-1957.

For hobbies, Patrick liked to fish, cook, work in his garden, go to turkey shoots, and loved his dog Angel very much.

A graveside service for Patrick will be held on Tuesday, December 22, 2020 at 10:00 A.M. at Seneca Memory Gardens, Tiffin, Ohio with the Rev. Kristin Buchs officiating. A military graveside service will be conducted by the Seneca County Veterans Council. It will be required to wear a mask and social distance if coming to the graveside service.
