Mary E. McCurdy

Mary E. McCurdy, age 92 formerly of 1020 Chenonceaux Drive, Marion, Ohio and Sycamore, Ohio died at 5:05 A.M., Tuesday, December 28, 2021 at Marion Pointe Care Center. She was born on February 9, 1928 in Galia County, Ohio to Richard and Rosanna (Collins) Oney. She married James M. Jordan and he died in 1973, and she then married Richard McCurdy and he died in 1999.

Surviving are the following children, Jamie (John) Zink, Coral Springs, Florida, Jerry (Mary) Jordan, Marion, Ohio, Robert Jordan, Marion, Ohio, Linda (Gary) Reynolds, Marion, Ohio and Charles (Cheryl) Jordan, Marion, Ohio. Also surviving are seven grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by fourteen brothers and sisters besides her parents and husbands.                                     

Mary had worked ten years for GTE-Marion and then became a hairdresser for thirty years working at various beauty shops around Marion. 

Mary attended Sycamore High School and for hobbies loved to go to casinos, loved to travel and especially loved going to the beach. 

A graveside service for Mary will be held at 11:00 A.M, Saturday, January 8, 2022 at Old Mission Cemetery, Upper Sandusky, Ohio with Jason Jordan officiating.
