Gary L. Lauthers

Gary L. Lauthers, age 67 of 48 West Perry Street, Tiffin, Ohio and formerly of Sycamore, Ohio died at 6:00 A.M., Wednesday, October 2, 2019 at home. He was born on October 26, 1951 in Bucyrus, Ohio. He was raised by his stepfather, Otto Nelson Jr. and mother Patricia (Glasener) Nelson who survive in Sycamore, Ohio. He was married to Janet Marugg and they later divorced.  

Surviving are a daughter, Stephanie (Karl) Stephan, Carey, Ohio, four grandchildren, Christopher, Noah, Haleigh and Ariya plus one great-granddaughter, Aella. Also surviving are four sisters, Connie Leeth, rural Sycamore, Ohio, Deborah Lauthers, Sycamore, Ohio, Judy (Dean) Keller, rural Sycamore, Ohio and Jean (Rick) Leeth, Sycamore, Ohio. Also surviving are five nieces.       

Gary at one time was a general laborer at the former American Standard, Tiffin, Ohio. He was a 1971 graduate of Mohawk High School and was an avid Cleveland Browns and Cleveland Indians fan.
