David Heimrick Obituary

David E. Heimrick, age 51 of rural McCutchenville, Ohio died Monday evening May 30, 2022 at home. He was born on August 21, 1970 in Tiffin, Ohio to David F. and June (Stone) Heimrick. His father resides in rural McCutchenville, Ohio. He married Karen S. (Hucke) Heimrick on May 15, 1999 and she survives in rural McCutchenville, Ohio.

Surviving are the following children: Elizabeth (Luke) Kline, rural McCutchenville, Ohio and David R. Heimrick, rural McCutchenville, Ohio. Also surviving are three grandchildren, Owen, Oliver and Ellison Kline, two sisters, Lisa Heimrick (Stacy Clagg), Findlay, Ohio, Lori (Jim) Gosche, rural Tiffin, Ohio and a step-sister, Carmen (Mike) Metzger, New Riegel, Ohio. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother, June, step-mother, Carol Heimrick, and a step-brother, Andy McNutt.                                                      

David was a 1988 graduate of Mohawk High School, graduated with an associate degree from Marion Technical College, and currently was working in the water department for the City of Upper Sandusky. David previously worked at the former Black Hawk, Upper Sandusky and also as a lab tech at Magruder Hospital, Port Clinton, Ohio. He also currently was President of the South Bend Cemetery Association.                

For hobbies, he loved to go hunting, do car restoration, and watch on TV or attend sprint car races and demolition derbies in the area. He loved farming and helping his father take care of the sheep they raised. He loved his dog, Gracie, and especially loved spending time with his grandchildren.                                                                       

A funeral service for David will be held on Monday, June 6, 2022 at 11:00 A.M. at the Walton-Moore Funeral Home, Sycamore, Ohio with Mr. Dan Cleland officiating. Burial will follow at Bethel Cemetery, Seneca County, Ohio. Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 5, 2022 from 2:00-5:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
