Dale L. Wagner

Dale L. Wagner, age 87 of 4197 East Township Road 44, Sycamore, Ohio died at 8:40 P.M., Monday, April 17, 2023 at home. He was born on February 29, 1936 in Seneca County, Ohio to Howard and Catherine (Scott) Wagner. He married Shirley (Ownings) on April 12, 1958 and she survives.                                                         

Surviving are the following children, Jeff (Carla) Wagner, rural Sycamore, Ohio, Craig (Crystal) Wagner, rural Sycamore, Ohio and Mark (Amy) Wagner, Perrysburg, Ohio. Also surviving are six grandchildren, Jody Satyanathan, Andrew Wagner, Karen Wagner, Kayla Wagner, Madison Wagner and Paul Satyanathan. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Mildred Hall and Martha Wagner, and three brothers, William, Grant and James Wagner. 

Dale was a retired farmer, attended Christ Church of Tiffin, and was a 1954 graduate of Melmore High School. 

For hobbies, Dale loved to play cards and played in a lot of card clubs over the years. He loved to work in his shop making crafts and doing woodworking. Dale loved to attend all of his grandchildren’s school events. Dale also served his country in the Army from 1955-1957.                                                                     

A memorial service for Dale will be held at 1:00 P.M., Saturday, April 29, 2023 at the Christ Church of Tiffin with the Rev. Mark Hassler officiating. The Seneca County Veterans Council will conduct a military service at the church on Saturday. Visitation will be held at the church from 11:00 A.M. - 1:00 P.M. prior to the memorial service.
