Clifford G. Scott

Clifford G. Scott, age 94 formerly of 196 Brokensword Road, Sycamore, Ohio died at 10:40 A.M., Friday, November 12, 2021 at The Willows, Tiffin, Ohio. He was born on June 25, 1927 in Gallipolis, Ohio to Walter and Irene (Wagner) Scott. He married June (Gilliam) Scott on August 27, 1947 and she survives.                          

Surviving are the following children, Gordon (Becky) Scott, Cabool, Missouri, Jeff Scott, rural Sycamore, Ohio, David Scott, Tennessee, Sherry (George) Scott, Fostoria, Ohio, Theresa Jones, Bloomville, Ohio and Jonathon (Ann) Scott, rural Sycamore, Ohio. Also surviving are sixteen grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren and three great -great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Irene Fegley, three grandchildren, three brothers and two sisters.                                                                                         

Clifford was a sheep shearer for many years and also was a truck driver, farmer and one time was a township employee. He was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church in Crestline, Ohio, was a member of the Ohio Sheep Shearer Association and went to a lot of their sheep contest and judged for them. He also served his country in the United States Marine Corps. 

A funeral service for Clifford will be held on Friday, November 19, 2021 at 11:00 A.M. at the Walton-Moore Funeral Home, Sycamore, Ohio with Pastor Christopher Replogle officiating. Burial will follow at Old Mission Cemetery, Upper Sandusky, Ohio where the Sycamore American Legion Post # 250 will conduct a military graveside service. Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 18, 2021 from 4:00-7:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
