Alfred S. Dunlap

Alfred S. Dunlap, age 79 formerly of Sycamore, Ohio died at 1:35 P.M., Sunday, July 26, 2026 at the Wyandot County Skilled Nursing and Rehab, Upper Sandusky, Ohio. He was born on September 1, 1946 in Sycamore, Ohio to William and Naida (Hill) Dunlap. 

Al is survived by one brother, William Dunlap and companion, Karen Kelly, rural Sycamore, Ohio plus a brother-in-law, Neil Stover, of Frostproof, Florida, and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by one sister, Patricia Stover, and a brother, Steven Dunlap and his wife Jo, besides his parents.                        

Al was a heavy equipment operator most of his life, having worked for several companies in the surrounding area. He was a member of the Sons of the Sycamore American Legion Post #250 and for hobbies he loved to work on motorcycles and old cars.                                                                                                                                          

A memorial service for Al will be held on Friday, July 31, 2026 at 11:00 A.M. at the Walton-Moore Funeral Home, Sycamore, Ohio with Pastor Janet Dunlap officiating. Burial will follow at Pleasant View Cemetery, Sycamore, Ohio. Visitation will be held on July 31, 2026 from 10:00 A.M. - 11:00 A.M. prior to the memorial service at the funeral home.
