Marjorie E. Walter, age 86 of Mansfield, Ohio and formerly of Sycamore, Ohio died at 1:36 P.M., Monday, August 13, 2018 at Ohio Health Med Central Hospital, Mansfield ,Ohio. She was born on November 24, 1931 in Mineral Wells, West Virginia to John M. and Stella (Jackson) Bargeloh. She married Wayne A. Walter on November 25, 1956 and he died January 17, 1982.
Surviving are the following children, Patricia (Greg) Ruess, Newark, Ohio, Catherine (David) Cole, Ontario, Ohio and John (Donna) Walter, Riverside, Ohio. Also surviving are six grandchildren, Adam Cole, James Walter, Amanda Cole Perez, Shaina Walter, Sarah Walter and Spencer Ruess, three great-grandchildren, Oliver, Mason and Mallory Perez. Marjorie has three brothers surviving, Robert Bargeloh, Parkersburg, West Virginia, Wayne Bargeloh, Mineral Wells, West Virginia and Wesley Bargeloh, Parkersburg, West Virginia. She was preceded in death by one sister, Betty Gall and one brother Earl Bargeloh besides her husband and parents.
Marjorie was a retired registered nurse having worked in all the facilities throughout Wyandot County over her lifetime. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Wellington Ohio. She was a 1950 graduate of Parkersburg High School, Parkersburg, West Virginia and also graduated from Camden Clark Nursing School in Parkersburg, West Virginia. She also was a former member of the Sycamore United Methodist Church and the Wildwood Chapel, rural Upper Sandusky, Ohio.
For hobbies she loved embroidering, doing puzzles, gardening and was a very active church member where she played the piano and loved singing in the choir.
Funeral services for Marjorie will be held on Friday, August 17, 2018 at 10:30 A.M. at the Walton-Moore Funeral Home, Sycamore, Ohio with Pastor Tom Alexander officiating. Burial will follow at Pleasant View Cemetery, Sycamore, Ohio. Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 16, 2018 from 5:00-8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
