Marilyn J. Stevens, age 85 of 5823 Township Highway 11, Sycamore, Ohio died at 11:07 P.M., Saturday, August 18, 2018 at the Wyandot County Skilled Nursing and Rehab Center, Upper Sandusky, Ohio. She was born on April 29, 1933 in Wyandot County to Jacob A. and Mazie M. (Covert) Margraf. She married Glenn Stevens on August 18, 1951 and he survives.
Surviving are the following children: David A. (Polly) Stevens, McCutchenville, Ohio, Mary Beth (Dave) Chester, Sycamore, Ohio, Marcia (Steve) Bennett, Upper Sandusky, Ohio, Mark E. Stevens, Toledo, Ohio, Melissa A. Lippert, Milan, Ohio, Teresa L. Taylor, Tiffin, Ohio, Michael J. (Kelly) Stevens, Fostoria, Ohio, Sarah (Kevin) Zoeller, Tiffin, Ohio and Rebecca Jill Stevens-Fenstermaker (Nathan) Fenstermaker, Upper Sandusky, Ohio. Also surviving are fifteen grandchildren, Joshua Stevens, Jodi Stevens, Jacob Stevens, Joseph Chester, Michael Chester, Cory Steinmetz, Patrick Steinmetz, Andrea Hoopes, Veronica Dines, Audrey Dines, Nicholas Stevens, Nadine Weininger, Robert Barney, Mazie Stevens and McKayla Fenstermaker plus thirteen great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a great grandson, four brothers ,three sisters and her parents.
Marilyn was a homemaker and also at one time was a cook at Wyandot Memorial Hospital. She was a 1951 graduate of McCutchenville High School, was a member of the former Presbyterian Church in McCutchenville and currently was a member of Trinity United Church of Christ in McCutchenville where she used to sing in the choir.
For hobbies she loved to read, do crossword puzzles, loved sports especially the Ohio State Buckeyes and the Cleveland Indians but most of all loved to be around her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A memorial service for Marilyn will be held on Thursday, August 23, 2018 at 1:00 P.M. at the Walton-Moore Funeral Home, Sycamore, Ohio. Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 23, 2018 from 11:00-1:00 P.M. prior to the memorial service. Burial will take place at a later date at Bethel Cemetery, McCutchenville, Ohio.
