Ray G. Carn, age 90 of Melmore, Ohio died at 12:54 P.M., Saturday, January 13, 2018 at Tiffin Mercy Hospital. He was born on January 9, 1928 in Sandusky County, Ohio to Alfa and Carrie (Claycomb) Carn. He married Betty (Maloy) Carn on June 29, 1952 at the Melmore United Methodist Church and she survives.

Also surviving is a son, Tim Carn of Melmore, Ohio. Ray was preceded in death by a sister, Virginia Snyder and his parents.                                            

Ray was retired from Carn Lumber and Fertilizer, Melmore, Ohio. He was a 1946 graduate of Melmore High School and  was a member of the Melmore United Methodist Church. For hobbies he coached Melmore Little League Baseball for twelve years, flag football, and also loved to go fishing and boating in his spare time.                                           

Funeral services for Ray will be held on Thursday, January 18, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. at the Walton-Moore Funeral Home, Sycamore, Ohio with Pastor Amy Vittorio officiating. Burial will follow at Pleasant View Cemetery, Sycamore, Ohio. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 17, 2018 from 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
