Coletta A McCue

Coletta A. McCue, age 69 of 949 East Township Road 149, Tiffin, Ohio died at 8:35 P.M., Tuesday, January 16, 2018 at home. She was born on September 10, 1948 in Tiffin, Ohio to Warren J. and Dorothy (Webster) Gottfried. She married Carl McCue on July 13, 1969 and he survives.                                                              

Surviving are the following children, Charlotte (Don) Michaels, Mokena, Illinois, Catherine (Keith) Yambert, Tiffin, Ohio and Christine (Jeremy) Risner, Colorado Springs, Colorado. Also surviving are three grandchildren, Sarina and Kameron Yambert, Carly Michaels, three sisters, Virginia (David) Fadley, rural Upper Sandusky, Ohio, Joyce (Stan) Brown, Tiffin, Ohio, Jan (Mike) Aken, Sandusky, Ohio, one brother, Dennis (Robin) Gottfried, Bucyrus, Ohio and a sister-in-law, Becky Gottfried, Melmore, Ohio. She was preceded in death by one brother, Mark Gottfried and her parents. 

Coletta was a seamstress, 1966 graduate of Mohawk High School, was a former 4-H advisor for Summer Workshop, was a member of Melmore United Methodist Church where she started Sunday children’s church in the basement during the worship service at church. For hobbies Coletta loved to go camping, walking, loved to bake, work in her flower garden and especially spend time with her children and grandchildren.   

Funeral services for Coletta will be held on Saturday, January 20, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. at the Melmore United Methodist Church with Pastor Amy Vittorio officiating. Burial will take place at a later date. Visitation will be held on Friday, January 19, 2018 from 4:00-8:00 P.M. at Walton-Moore Funeral Home, Sycamore, Ohio and also on Saturday at the church from 10:00-11:00 A.M. prior to funeral service.
