Catherine L Moore

Catherine L. Moore, age 91 formerly of 7 West Market Street (Kiwanis Manor), Tiffin, Ohio died at 1:56 P.M., Wednesday, April 18, 2018 at St. Francis Home, Tiffin, Ohio. She was born on March 7, 1927 in Sycamore, Ohio to Clarence and Mary Edith (Barrett) Jones. She married Mervin Lawrence and he passed away. She then married C. Keith Moore and he also preceded her in death.           

She is survived by three daughters: Rosemary (Jerry) Morris, Tiffin, Ohio, Victoria (Howard) Hohman, Tiffin, Ohio and Barbara Bender, Tiffin, Ohio. She also is survived by eight grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren plus many step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one grandson, one sister, Molly Walter, son-in-law, Tom Bender and two stepchildren, Jerry and Richard Moore.      

She was a retired nurse’s aide at the former Tiffin State Hospital. She also was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Tiffin, Ohio.  

A funeral service for Catherine will be held at 10:00 A.M., Monday, April 23, 2018 at St. Mary Catholic Church, Tiffin, Ohio with Rev. Gary Walters officiating. Burial will follow at Pleasant Ridge Cemetery, west of Sycamore, Ohio. Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 22, 2018 from 3:00-6:00 P.M. at the Walton-Moore Funeral Home, Sycamore, Ohio.
